Medi-Hub Unvailed – The Fassifern Guardian & Tribune
Scenic Rim’s medical and business landscape has reached exciting new heights with the opening of the highly anticipated and innovative medical precinct. The innovative medical facility, Medi-Hub, was officially launched last week by the Federal Member for Wright, Scott Buchholz.
Medi-Hub, a modernized approach to a collaborative medical facility, is a major component of the redevelopment of Beaudesert’s leading shopping and service precinct alongside the region’s largest supermarket, Coles.
Anchored by Beau-desert Family Practice, the ‘Medi-Hub’ expansion has doubled their presence in the centre and positioned it as the go-to medical practice for those in the Scenic Rim region. The expansion boasts a collective of health and allied health professionals and features a skin care clinic, dentist, imaging services and a Sullivan Nicolaides pathology clinic.
The existing independent pharmacy is transforming into Priceline, Australia’s leading pharmacy, health and beauty store. This amplification of health services has been accompanied by an additional 63 shaded car spaces with direct access to the ‘Medi-Hub’ that will ensure ease of access and a convenient experience to all who visit.
Beaudesert Fair has also welcomed a centre-wide refresh with a number of business leasing opportunities now available – an opportunity for local businesses to thrive and join the supportive economic community. Beaudesert Fair is excited to welcome everyone from across the region and beyond to the centre to experience the Medi-Hub services first-hand and enjoy a new encounter at the region’s largest shopping centre – further cementing its place within the community.
HOW IT BEGAN
In 2015 a Queensland family invested in Beau-desert Fair when they recognised an opportunity to enrich the region with accessible services and experiences by reinvigorating Beaudesert Fair Shopping Centre. In the six years that followed, Beaudesert Fair team curated a neighbourhood heart that has grown from strength to strength, and they have now unveiled the re-imagined Beaudesert Fair Shopping Centre.
The vision for the improved Beaudesert Fair is a Queensland success story of a collaboration between the owners, council, developers Reds Group and Hutchinson Builders. In the early stages of the development, the project team completed a multi-million dollar refurbishment of Coles, adding significant value to the community and solidifying Beaudesert Fair’s position as the hub of the Scenic Rim. The creation of Medi-Hub, a collection of premium medical facilities unlike anything Scenic Rim has seen before, marks the final stage of the redevelopment.
The final re-imagining of Beaudesert Fair is now underway with the project team working to continue to improve the offerings of current tenants, and in turn increase the value and experience of the customers visiting the centre.
“At the end of the day, it’s all about driving more people to the centre, whether out of necessity or leisure, our aim is for them to enjoy their shopping experience at Beaudesert Fair,” said the Centre management. “A project like this, a living organism, needs care and attention to ensure it lives up to the reputation created by the passionate Beaudesert Fair Team; the Scenic Rim’s neighbourhood heart.”
